WHAT ARE BOOTCAMPS?
When teachers know the expectations for students, they can help their students reach that bar. Organizing grade- and subject-specific support is hard within one district but a common need across district lines. The Florida Bootcamps are two-day, deep-dive trainings offered in math and ELA at every grade level, focused on the most challenging content of the grade.
The price for Bootcamps is $600/seat. After May 15, seats are $650 to cover the additional cost of rushed materials.

WHO ARE THEY FOR?
Florida Bootcamps benefit teachers that need to dig deeper into content (what to teach) and content pedagogy (how to teach that particular content). Those include new teachers, teachers changing grades or subjects, textbook selection committee members that need to make an informed choice, and veteran teachers ready for a stretch.

WHO LEADS THEM?
Florida Bootcamps are about teachers leading their fellow teachers. Our Content Coaches are expert educators who understand the challenges firsthand. They receive extensive training in their content area and go through a competitive selection process before joining our Bootcamps team.
WHEN ARE THEY?
Florida Bootcamps last for two days each, and are offered in both June and July.

WHAT HAVE OTHER TEACHERS THOUGHT ABOUT BOOTCAMPS?
Last summer, our participants in Bootcamps found great value in them. 93% of participants reported that the training was a valuable use of time. Check out what other teachers are saying about their experience:
“I am bringing home materials I can actually use in my grade level. I loved that every ounce of my time spent pertained to my grade level.”
“My favorite part of Bootcamps is the communication that we are able to have with each other and learning a lot from other teachers.”
“I also was thankful that our presenter was a 5th grade math teacher. He knew exactly what we go through in our classrooms each day and gave incredible feedback for how we can use certain strategies.”
