Central to our work with partners, the Instructional Practice Guides are classroom observation tools that describe standards-aligned content, teacher actions, and student engagement indicative of excellent teaching and learning.

Instructional leaders can use these free tools to establish a vision for high-quality instruction, understand the current reality within classrooms, and identify opportunities for growth across a school or system.
