AI tools, from tutoring systems to accessibility programs, are used in classrooms around the country. As with any new technology, educators have plenty of questions about its usefulness and impact.
Join Instruction Partners and Coursemojo for an in-depth exploration and discussion of the role of AI in instructional improvement. We’ll dig into the ways instructional leaders and teachers can leverage AI to make the work of leading and teaching easier and how it can help improve student outcomes. We’ll also consider the conditions and supports that instructional leaders might want to have in place for successful implementation of classroom-based AI tools.
Attendees will:
- Build understanding of the broad use-cases for AI in K–12 instruction
- Learn about the design, purpose, and impact of Coursemojo’s curriculum-aligned, AI-powered teaching assistant for grades 5–8 that aligns with top-rated curricula: Amplify ELA, EL Education, Fishtank ELA, HMH Into Literature, myPerspectives, and Wit & Wisdom
- Participate in a sample ELA lesson that leverages Coursemojo
- Learn about the implementation support provided by Instruction Partners to leaders and teachers using Coursemojo
- Talk to Coursemojo co-CEO Dacia Toll about implementation, what they’re learning as more and more schools use Coursemojo, and next steps for the curriculum-aligned teaching assistant

Kelsey Hendricks, Instruction Partners
Kelsey Hendricks’s belief that high-quality, standards-aligned instruction is an essential component of impactful instructional experiences for all students began during her time as a middle school mathematics teacher in Nashville, TN. At Instruction Partners, Kelsey manages the engagement team, which works to grow Instruction Partners’ footprint in key regions. She also oversees the work of the custom consulting team, which designs and delivers bespoke services for unique and early stage organizational learning projects. Kelsey joined the team in 2018 as a Math Content Lead, built internal coaching structures as a Senior Content Lead, and led the formation of the custom consulting team, and led Emerging Services for the organization before transitioning to her current role. Prior to joining Instruction Partners, she led design and delivery of school leader supports in Shelby County Schools and spent time on staff at Teach for America. Kelsey began her career in education as a middle school math teacher.

Dacia Toll, Co-founder and Co-CEO, Coursemojo
In 1999, Dacia became the founding principal of Amistad Academy in New Haven, CT, which went on to post the greatest achievement gains of any middle school in the state. Dacia then co-founded and co-led Achievement First (AF), which became one of the nation’s leading charter school networks with 41 schools across the Northeast and college graduation rates that were five times peer averages. Dacia left Achievement First in July 2021 to launch Coursemojo. Dacia is a founder and current board chair of Relay Graduate School of Education.
