Senior Director of Research and Development

Dr. Viticia Thames is an education researcher with a focus on using both quantitative and qualitative methods to improve teacher and instructional leader professional learning quality improvement cycles at scale, in order to impact students’ social-emotional and academic outcomes, inclusive of students who have been historically marginalized. As the senior director of research and development at Instruction Partners, Dr. Thames oversees pilot-specific and organization-wide impact evaluations, as well as a wide range of instructional leadership professional learning pilots at the state, district, and school levels across the country.
